Last week a Kenyan student at York College (York, NE) received word that his mother passed away. Adding to his sadness was that he didn't have the $1,200 he would need for airfare to return home for the funeral. The York College family held a collection during the daily chapel program on Friday and the following Monday it was announced that $3,700 was raised. At the end of chapel, everyone gathered around the student to pray for him and his family.…See More

I firmly believe that every person who has succeeded has had, and probably still has, a mentor - someone to guide them and encourage them, a conduit for the individual to discover his or her own excellence.
