Marshall County Home Place’s upcoming fundraiser will be “Celebrity Feud” on Saturday, March 2, at Town Hall in Guntersville at 6 p.m.
This fundraiser has teams that will compete against each other in the style of the TV show, “Family Feud.” The teams will be: mayors, car dealers, elected officials, ministers, medical personnel and chamber presidents. The names of actual team members will be announced later. Gunter’s Landing is catering the event. There will be heavy hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. Tickets are $50 per person and are available for purchase at the Home Place Thrift Store, 1540 Blount Ave., Guntersville, or call 256-960-5058 for more information.
Enjoy an evening of good food, fun and fellowship while helping Home Place raise money to provide transitional housing for homeless families.
Marshall County Home Place is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides transitional housing for homeless families while they attempt to achieve self-sufficiency and permanent housing. In addition to free shelter, our clients receive instruction in money management and personal responsibility and guidance in locating self-improvement classes and employment. We are the only organization in Marshall County that provides free housing for homeless families. Our program is funded through the United Way, private and corporate donations, fundraisers, and Home Place Thrift Store.
