BENTONVILLE, Ark. (KNWA) — Natural medicine has been used for centuries and a local business is allowing northwest Arkansas the chance to try it while helping the community.
Ozark Integrative Medicine in Bentonville will host a fundraiser on Thursday, December 20 to benefit local nonprofit Havenwood, a safe house for single parents. Staff will perform normal services, such as medical massages and acupuncture, however guests will pay what they can afford and one hundred percent of proceeds will be donated.
Director Lindsey Hardin said the fundraiser helps the nonprofit, and is good for people who may experience stress during the holidays.
“Self care is important for staying balanced,” Hardin said. “You want to remain your best, you want to remain in the present moment with your family.”
To participate, guests must make an appointment at Ozark Integrative Medicine by calling 479-903-5022.
