How is working on “Will & Grace” different the second time around? Coming back 11 and a half years after we wrapped feels completely different from the original run of the show. We chose to come back this time. We wanted to make people laugh, give them a half hour respite from the very distressing news of the day. I think we all feel like this is a big, huge juicy cherry on top of the cake and we are not really concerned about things that were very important during our first run. We are not concerned about the ratings. We are really concerned about just doing the best shows possible, which is very liberating and makes the whole experience purer and more joyful.

What is your holiday beauty routine? I don’t think my beauty routine changes much other than perhaps I might wear a little more makeup than usual. I definitely think that when I get ready to go to holiday parties, I am inspired by the festive nature of the year. I think I probably dress up a little more than usual.

Can you walk us through your skincare routine? What are your favorite products? Oh, I have so many that I love. I like to double wash to get it as clean as possible. I love Joanna Vargas’ Vitamin C wash. I also love IS clinical’s Cleansing Complex. They are both great for sensitive skin. After cleansing, I like to layer essences. My favorite is Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner and Time Revolution, the first treatment essence. This traps moisture in my skin when I put serums on top. I love Niod Copper Amino Acid Isolate activator. I find it evens out my skin tone. I love Amore Pacific Moisture Bound Rejuvenating Serum. I also love Joanna Vargas’ Vitamin C serum called Rescue Serum. Then I put on moisturizer. I have been alternating between Augustinus Bader, Joanna Vargas’ Daily Hydrating cream and Amore Pacific Time Response cream. I finish with eye cream and my two favorites right now are La Mer Illuminating Eye Gel and Neocutis Lumiere Riche. I also love sheet masks by Joanna Vargas and the Korean tightening mask, Hanacure.

What’s your secret to looking so young at 50? Drinking a ton of water, eating very, very clean, getting sleep, and carving out time for wellness.

How do you practice self-care? I love to take baths with Himalayan sea salt and essential oils. I try and get massages semi-regularly. I treat myself to a facial when I can. It is very relaxing and I carve out time to read on the weekend.

Why did you decide to partner up with Colgate Optic White? It just made sense. I have been using the product for years so when they reached out, it seemed like the perfect organic marriage. I don’t have a lot of time because I am a single mom. When I find things that work, that are simple and fast, I stick with it.

How do you balance motherhood with your career? One hour at a time. I do my best every day and I depend on friends and family to help me.

What projects do you have coming up in 2019 that you’re excited about? I am developing something right now that I am very excited about but I am superstitious so I won’t talk about it now. Just know that it’s in the pipeline.
